All good things must come to an end. After serving the community for 77 years, Bause’s Super Drug Store, located on E. Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown, has decided to close its doors permanently as of June 18.

While the reason for the closing is not exactly clear, there were many emotions and considerations taken into account, according to a posting on the company’s website.

All of Bause’s prescription files have been transferred to CVS Pharmacy, located at 801 E. Philadelphia Ave. Every effort has been made to avoid interruption of pharmacy services. Several of Bause’s employees will be joining the CVS pharmacy team.

More details will be provided as the information becomes available.
