NEW HANOVER — A 53-year-old Upper Pottsgrove man was killed when his motorcycle traveled off the road around 6:36 a.m. Friday, police said.
New Hanover Township Police said the crash remains under investigation, however, they confirmed it was a single-vehicle crash involving only the man’s motorcycle.
The crash happened in the area of Yarnall and Moyer roads. When police arrived at the scene they found the “motorcycle had run off the south side of the roadway” and the driver of the motorcycle was dead at the scene.
New Hanover Township Police were assisted at the scene by Douglass (Mont.) police, New Hanover Fire Department and Gilbertsville Ambulance.

NEW HANOVER — A motorcyclist was killed after a crash with a truck at Moyer and Yarnall roads in the township around 6:30 a.m. Friday. The roads were still closed as of 10:20 a.m. as police investigated the crash.
