Dr. Lori Gray of Gilbertsville’s Complete Family Eyecare was recently awarded the 2012 Pennsylvania Young Optometrist of the Year. This award recognizes an optometrist who demonstrates outstanding leadership skills while serving their profession, patients and community; he or she must be practicing less than ten years.

Through continued learning, constant updating of her skills and regularly lecturing to both her community and her colleagues, Dr. Gray remains a leader in her field. She currently sits on the board of trustees for the Bucks-Montgomery Optometric Society and she recently became the Trustee Elect for the Pennsylvania Optometric Society. Dr. Gray is highly involved in the local community through preschool screenings, charity events, mission trips to underserved populations and more. She has won the Young Optometrist of the Year award locally four times in the past eight years. We’re lucky to have Dr. Gray here serving Gilbertsville and surrounding areas.

When questioned about this award, Dr. Gray said, “it’s truly an honor to be recognized with this award, but at the end of the day providing quality eyecare to our local community remains my greatest accomplishment.”
