Hard work and dedication pay off—especially in the case of Chestnut Knoll Residential Care employee Kathy Flicker.
In May, Chestnut Knoll honored Flicker with a trip to Disney World for all her hard work and commitment. She has since returned from the trip and is back at work, telling all her exciting stories to the residents and staff who generously provided her with the trip.
Chestnut Knoll surprised Flicker with this trip for her, husband Chuck, and grandson David. The trip included five days and four nights at Disney Caribbean Beach resort in Disney World, airfare, and a park hopper pass for the family.
“I am so thankful that Chestnut Knoll gave me this trip to Disney for me to spend with my family,” said Flicker. “We all really enjoyed our time in Disney and are so grateful that Chestnut Knoll was able to provide us with this trip. I love working at Chestnut Knoll; the staff and residents make it such a rewarding place to work. Not only does everyone here care for the residents, but they are sure to care for employees, too.”
Flicker, a full-time care assistant, began working at Chestnut Knoll in May 2002. She often works extra hours to help whenever or wherever she is needed, and she has never been late to work, nor has she missed a day in 10 years.
