National Penn Donates $10,000 to relief efforts

National Penn Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq: NPBC) announced today it has made a corporate donation of $10,000 to the American Red Cross in support of Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

“Our thoughts are with all of those impacted by Hurricane Sandy, and National Penn is doing what we can to help those affected by this disaster,” said Scott Fainor, National Penn president & CEO. “The Red Cross has the infrastructure in place to provide both immediate and ongoing relief for victims of such disasters.”

The check was presented to the American Red Cross by Joe Lennert, President of Caruso Benefits Group and Pete Gray, President of National Penn’s Northern Region.
