Berks-Mont wants your fabulous cookies!

Calling all cookie bakers! Maybe you have a favorite recipe, or one that everyone absolutely begs for each holiday season. Here’s your chance to show off your creation.

Just bake your favorite, most delicious holiday cookie recipe and bring us a sample. Our tasters extraordinaire will sample the cookies and announce their favorite in the December 13 edition of The Boytertown Area Times.

And what do you get as a reward for having the best holiday cookies?

The first place winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to a local grocery store and a 1-year subscription to any Berks-Mont Newspaper. In addition, the winning recipe, along with a picture of the winner, will be published on Dec. 13. Prizes will also be awarded to second and third place.

The rules are simple:
Bring a sealed disposable container or sealed plastic bag containing six (6) samples of your favorite home-made cookies, along with the recipe to 24 N. Hanover Street, Pottstown NO LATER THAN 10 a.m. Dec. 7. No late entries will be accepted. Judging will be held that afternoon.

Cookies will be judged on taste and overall appearance.

Cookie entries are limited to made-from-scratch cookies. Recipes must accompany the entry.

Bakers must be a resident of The Southern Berks News, The Boyertown Area Times or The Community Connection coverage area.

All recipes submitted become the property of Berks-Mont Newspapers and may be republished and used for any purpose.
