As the holidays approach, some members of the community need more than food and material items—they need time and helping hands.
On Saturday, Dec. 15, volunteers will be available and will be stepping up to help their neighbors in the Boyertown Area.
If you or someone you know needs some odd jobs done around your home and you are not able to do them, please call the United Way of Boyertown Area office at 610-367-8716. Volunteers will do simple, odd jobs such as raking leaves, cleaning windows, helping with holiday decorations or winterizing resident’s homes.
If you are intertested in volunteering your time in order to help others on Dec. 15 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., please call the office of the United Way of Boyertown to pre-register.
This event is being sponsored by Explorer Post 73 of the United Way of Boyertown Area.
