Forget snow, has anyone out there been caught in the recent fog storms? We drove home from Doylestown the other night in it, I would have much preferred snow…
Well, we have the first 2013 entrant in our favorite band name category, Go Commando will be playing the Sandtrap. There is, however, no word on their wardrobe choices.
Local venues continue to provide quality entertainment. All one has to do is get out and enjoy. Big stages are a little slow this week, unless you are the one person that waits all year for Rick Springfield to come to town, THEN you’re in luck. I like The Machine at the Scottish Rite this week. I caught them last year and they are a good show. Locally, a nice night out at The Bridge Inn with the piano man Jim Meck seems to be a great choice. Jim always puts on a good show and The Bridge Inn is just a great venue.
For those of you who are fans of local rocker Ritchie Kotzen, there is a very good article you need to check out at MNTv (Music News TV, Spain). Google “in Kotzen we trust” and read what the International music scene has to say about Ritchie. Be warned this article was composed in Spanish and some of the translation is a little bizarre, but if you think about it you can figure out what they mean. Thanks to Donald from Boyertown for the heads up on this! We hope to see Ritchie in the area soon!
Do you want to see your band or venue listed here at WTIM? Send an email to tdietterick@journalregister.com with the particulars (at least two weeks in advance) and we’ll get it out there.
